Scottsmoor
Scottsmoor was settled in 1821 by James Garvin who acquired the land through the Spanish Land Grant. Its name come from two developers, Scott and Moore.
Scottsmoor is an unincorporated, rural community located in the northern-most part of Brevard County where the Indian River originates. It is north of Titusville.
A little over 3500 residents live in Scottsmoor, mostly young families with skilled labor jobs.
Features of Scottsmoor include a horse arena, camping, and Parrish Park. Parrish Park is a 5 acre neighborhood park with a basketball court, softball field, picnic tables, and a playground.
